Bathroom Remodels

Remodeling outdated bathrooms can add substantial value to a home, both in appraisal and function. I can help you with layout changes, complete remodels or small changes. Below are samples of some of the projects I have completed so far.

Before

This 1920’s home had a bathroom that was significantly outdated with green tile, tub and toilet. The room also felt very cramped with a large vanity and wall between the shower and toilet that left little room to use the sink. The tile in the shower had begun to fall off, and a plastic board was installed in it’s place.

After

The remodel included new flooring, new framing of the wall between the shower and toilet, new vanity, mirror and light features. The new design provided a modern look and more functional layout with increased space between the sink and shower.

Before

This basement bathroom had limited lighting, no windows, a small 32'“x32” completely enclosed shower. The door on the bathroom was unable to close and opened into the main room in the basement. There had been some recent flooding and the bathroom had not been used in a couple of years.

After

A complete remodel was need for the space, including new subfloor, ceiling, lighting and addition of duct work. The challenges of the space were low ceilings and a layout that required the door to open outward. By adding a rain head shower, the height was still usable for someone 6ft tall and I was able to double the size of the shower to 3ft wide. Custom tile work, new fixtures and flooring helped the room feel spacious and functional.
