Kitchen Remodels

Often referred to as the heart of the house, remodeling the kitchen can often add the most increased value to a house. As a place everyone gathers, it’s important to create a bright space that improves function. Below is a sample of a complete kitchen remodel. I can also help with any elements in the kitchen from small to large.

Before

This 1950’s foreclosed home was unfunctional and extremely small. The layout felt cramped with an outside door existing in the already cramped space.

After

This complete remodel required removing all existing elements and framing in the door to the outside (which I relocated to the dining room area as seen below). The addition of can lights in the ceiling, new floors and white cabinets improved the look and brightness of the room. The change in layout added square footage and greatly expanded counter space and storage.

Before

This dining room remodel is in the same house as the photos above. The rounded, narrow entry way between the dining room and kitchen made each room feel smaller in an already small home. The outdated carpet and small window contributed to the outdated feel.

After

By removing almost the entire wall and using the same flooring throughout the space, I was able to create an open concept with improved flow. The addition of sliding glass doors and removal of the outdated bulky coat closet brought in more light and space for the small dining room. The squared in opening with the addition of trim brought an updated, finished feel to the space that was lacking before.
